Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic has already put pen to paper on a two-year contract with Inter, according to Italian TV.
The Serbian centre-back has been increasingly linked with a switch to the Nerazzuri at the end of the season after he and United confirmed that he will not be renewing with the Red Devils.
Reds boss David Moyes appeared to let slip that the 32-year-old had already got something lined up when he initially said that the move was 'good for both clubs' before correcting himself when he addressed the departure of Vidic in Friday's press conference,
Rai Sport today claim that Inter have already got the defender's signature on a pre-contract agreement, with Vidic apparently committing to an initial two-year deal at San Siro.
Vidic's new contract will also reportedly include an option for a third year and will see the Serbian collect 3.5m euros a year in wages - the equivalent of £60,000-a-week.
The news will surprise many in Italy after Inter sacked technical director Marco Branca last week because of a disappointing January transfer window, although Vidic's agent Silvano Martina is a former Italian goalkeeper who started his career with the Nerazzuri in 1972.
